What a busy term and what a busy Celebration Assembly!
Today we had a Celebration Assembly, marking the end of Term 4 and celebrating the various achievements of our pupils.
Students were awarded Merit certificates, many of them also receiving £5 vouchers to spend in the school’s shop.
As usual, we had musical performances: Ewan playing the piano and Charlie playing the clarinet.
For the first time, we awarded a cup to one student in each tutor group, achieving the most merits this term.
Year 10 and 11 students participating in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme received their certificates for the volunteering section they just completed.
Three pupils were awarded the Chef of the Term title: Tom in Lower School, Brandon from Middle School and Daisy from Upper School.
This time, the Etienne cup was won by Chloe while the Nicolas Thorne cup was awarded to James, for exceptional progress in reading.
It was also a sad day because we had to say goodbye to Mr. Vincent, one of our Assistant Head, who is moving on to a different job. We wish you all the best and good luck with your new job.
And as a perfect way to end this beautiful spring day, Mr Ashworth and his team organised an Easter egg hunt with a huge golden egg as the main prize.
We would like to take this opportunity and wish all the students, parents, carers and staff a Happy Easter!
