Clevedon Tennis Club is holding a FREE Taster day of tennis, aimed at those with Learning Disabilities and Learning Difficulties and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. At CLTC they have an experienced tennis coach (also ex-Men’s Singles Deaf Champion) Sid Falconer who is deaf, does sign language and has experience of working both with hard of hearing pupils and those with LD.
They are inviting children and young adults to come to the tennis club on Saturday 9th April between 10am and 3pm to try out tennis with some of their fun and friendly coaches.
They will organise the timing of the various sessions when all prospective players have registered, on April 1st.
CLTC is a friendly club in a lovely location opposite the Princes Hall on Princes Road, Clevedon. They have gardens around the 4 artificial grass courts and picnic tables from which you can watch the fun! The newly refurbished clubhouse has a table tennis table and will be serving refreshments all day. Clevedon’s famous shopping street, Hill Road, is nearby and the impressive Clevedon Pier with its ice cream shops and tea rooms is just a stroll away. The club offers free parking.
