Mr Peacock delivered a whole school assembly on Monday 17th October, with the message of setting and achieving targets and goals.
He based the assembly around the theme of triathlon (Swim, Bike, Run), a sport close to his heart.
He showed a short film of himself competing in an event in the summer that he didn’t ever think he could complete.
Sometimes it is easy to set targets that we know we can achieve but Mr Peacock stressed the importance of, from time to time, challenging ourselves by setting the bar high.
“If we aim for the stars and just miss then we will still reach the moon”. The pupils and staff had great fun with a ‘triathlon challenge’, performing 30 seconds of each activity but having to change from swimming kit to cycling kit and then in to running kit to complete the challenge.
