Today is Remembrance Day. Here at Westhaven School we had a short ceremony to remember the people who have died in wars.
Pupils and staff lined up on the playground and a two-minute silence was held at 11am. After that we paid our respects by placing a poppy in the heart drawn on the pavement.
Thank you to all the pupils for showing the Westhaven Way, their behaviour was excellent.
Dear whole school community. I would like to thank you all for the wonderful level of respect you have shown in the ceremony today. The total silence in the playground and your deep thoughtfulness for those that gave their lives so we can lead the safe lives we do was wonderful to witness.
I am very proud of you all. THank you. From Ms Towler.
Well done Weshaven school and Ms Towler as will
