I grew up in London with two brothers and two sisters. I moved to the Bristol area after I came back from Japan and love this part of the UK. I am married and have two sons, one primary age and one secondary.
I have been a teacher for 25 years, including 13 years teaching English in Japan. I originally started as a French teacher but quickly went into SEN teaching near London, then went to live in Japan, near Mount Fuji, where I taught students from kindergarten to university.
When I came back to the UK I worked in the SEN dept of a secondary school in Wiltshire.
I started my job at Westhaven this year and am delighted to have the opportunity to work with such lovely students and friendly staff.
Hobbies & Interests
I recently started to learn the violin, which I have wanted to do for years. I love reading and read every single day! I enjoy crochet, knitting, cross-stitch and tapestry when I have time and energy (otherwise I make too many mistakes).
I am really interested in language and communication.
I am calm and encouraging and love to laugh.
