What a generous family the Stitches are. Mum, Adele, Dad, Jason plus Hayden and Luke gave of their time over the holiday weekend to raise awareness of and money for the sports hall project. They stood holding buckets in the foyer at Tesco Nailsea for hours and made hundreds of new friends and hundreds of pounds too. In fact over the weekend they raised a total of £669.53!!!
Not content, they are planning to do a similar session at Burnham Tesco at the end of April followed by Jason’s team riding from Lands End to Weston in May. Their example as fundraising pioneers is exemplary and hopefully parents, staff and friends of Westhaven can keep the bandwagon rolling.
If you want to help with or initiate a fundraising event please contact the school. We have access to banners like the one in the photo, buckets and even interactive posters that can be swiped by mobile devices to link to our Paypal account. Any ideas you have will be taken on board!
Thank you so much the Stitch family. Your efforts are wonderful. I spoke to Mrs Stitch this morning in celebration assembly and she said I quote ‘ my boys excellent manners went a long way towards people donating.’ So, well done Haydyn and Luke. I am very proud of you.
Big thanks also to Tesco Nailsea for supporting our fundraising efforts.
Best wishes.
