We were lucky enough in school to have had Paul and Harry come in and lead a break-out day for our middle school learners.
Paul is from Griffiths, a Civil engineering company and Harry is from Bristol Airport. They are currently working together on the new multi-story that will be at the airport.
Learners were given a challenge using straws and sellotape to create a structure strong enough to hold a golf ball. Learners had a fantastic opportunity to ask questions about Paul and Harry’s roles and work.
All learners created a successful structure and each class was awarded a trophy as a result!
Upper school will have this experience on the 1st of February and we are excited to welcome back our visitors again!
